Democrats Won Congress. Trump Still Controls the UAP Files.

November 2, 2026 – November 8, 2026

Democrats Won Both Chambers. The Files Are Still in the Executive Branch.

Democrats won the House and the Senate, Liberation Times reported. Republicans keep their majorities until this Congress ends on January 3, 2027. President Trump’s term runs to January 20, 2029. He can still order more PURSUE releases. The House passed Rep. Eric Burlison’s UAP Disclosure Act amendment on July 22, inside the fiscal 2027 defense bill. It still needs a final bill both chambers pass. Republican leaders control that calendar until January.

NewsNation reported that every UAP Caucus member who was on the ballot won. Anna Paulina Luna held Florida’s 13th by less than 1 percent. Jared Moskowitz, the caucus’s Democrat, won Florida’s 25th. Tim Burchett and Burlison were the other two Republicans on the ballot. Nancy Mace is retiring. Andy Ogles lost his primary in August. Before the vote, Burlison said a Democratic House would bring the Secrets Task Force work “to a complete halt,” because Democrats would investigate the Trump administration and the administration would pull people into “defense mode.” Oversight’s top Democrat, Robert Garcia, posted “Lawyer up” on election night. He has named four targets: Trump family finances, ICE and Homeland Security, corporate corruption, and the Epstein files. The White House still has not answered Liberation Times on alleged UAP shootdowns or on operations meant to draw the objects in.

Kirkpatrick: The Triangle File Is a Story, Not a Measurement

Former AARO director Sean Kirkpatrick told Fox News Digital the Release 07 account of a black triangle lacks the data to say what the FBI agents saw. Taking their testimony at face value because they are agents, he said, is “a classic case of authority bias.” On the word unresolved: “When we say a case is unresolved, it generally means there is no data or there is insufficient data to actually analyze it.” He was describing the standard from his time at AARO, which ended in 2023, not a new measurement of this sighting. The War Department told Fox it is not assessing the new files. AARO’s own note on the memo still says the case should be investigated further. Full article →
