PURSUE Release 02: The Videos Congress Fought For

The Pentagon published its second batch of declassified UAP files at war.gov/ufo, including dozens of videos, photos, documents, and audio recordings. The site has now received over 1 billion hits since the first release on May 8. A third release is already being prepared.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna announced the drop: “Second UAP drop is up!” The White House itself posted one of the videos – DOW-UAP-PR086, titled “UAP FROM DEC 2019 (EAST COAST)” – directly to social media.

Key files in Release 02:

  • F-16 shootdown over Lake Huron (Feb 2023) – DOW-UAP-PR071: Video appears to show a U.S. Air Force F-16C shooting down a UAP with its weapon system. This is the first official footage of the U.S. military destroying an unidentified object.
  • “Syrian UAP instant acceleration” (2021) – DOW-UAP-PR051: Five-minute video showing an object accelerating in ways inconsistent with known technology.
  • “Cigar shaped or fast spherical UAP” (Oct 2022) – DOW-UAP-PR053: CENTCOM footage of a UAP flying over a street.
  • Spherical UAP with erratic movement (2022) – DOW-UAP-PR054: Sensor footage tracking a sphere making jerky, unnatural maneuvers.
  • Spherical UAP over Europe – DOW-UAP-PR056: Nearly four minutes of tracking a sphere darting in and out of frame.
  • Indo-Pacific Command UAP (June 2024) – DOW-UAP-PR058: Uploaded to a classified network.
  • USCENTCOM UAP (June 2020) – DOW-UAP-PR059.
  • East Coast UAP (Dec 2019) – DOW-UAP-PR086: Posted by the White House.
  • Submarine-proximate UAP footage – Luna requested someone “grab and post the Submarine UAP footage from DOW release.”
  • DOE disc-shaped object – Material from the Department of Energy, identified by Chris Sharp as the Afghanistan-Pakistan frontier disc reported by Corbell and Knapp.
  • Multiple spherical UAPs near a submarine – per Chris Sharp.

Senior Intelligence Officer: Orbs Chased Fighter Jets, Formed a Triangle

A newly released report from a senior U.S. intelligence community official describes witnessing orange orbs during a helicopter flight in late 2025. The objects were “oval-shaped, orange with a white or yellow center, and emitted light in all directions.”

The officer then observed the same orbs appear over nearby fighter jets that had scrambled:

“I remarked to the pilots that it seemed the same orbs we had encountered were now ‘chasing’ the fighters. We also observed orange orbs flaring up and down around us for several minutes, forming a distinct triangle before vanishing.”

“After landing, I briefly spoke with them – mostly to express thanks. We were virtually speechless after these observations.”

The report is filed as ODNI-UAP-D001 – notably sourced from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, not a military branch.

Apollo 12 Audio: Astronauts Describe “Streaks of Lights” on the Moon

Newly unsealed audio from the Apollo 12 medical debriefing (December 1969) captures the crew describing “streaks of lights” they saw while trying to sleep on the lunar surface. NASA’s assessment: the phenomenon was “internal to the astronauts’ vision rather than external light sources.”

This follows the Apollo 12 photos and Apollo 11 debriefing transcript released in PURSUE’s first batch.

116-Page Sandia Dossier: 209 Sightings of Green Orbs and Fireballs (1948–1950)

A 116-page document (DOW-UAP-D017) details investigations at Sandia Base, New Mexico between 1948 and 1950, cataloging 209 sightings of “green orbs,” “discs,” and “fireballs” near the military installation.

Witnesses reported UAP “maneuvering, flying out of sight, disappearing, or exploding.” Investigators found residual copper powder at some sighting locations. These investigations helped fuel Project Grudge, the Air Force’s 1949 UFO inquiry.

Elizondo: “Today Represents a Milestone in Transparency”

Lue Elizondo responded to the release:

“Thank you Mr. President, and thank you to the members of Congress – Luna, Burchett, Burlison – and all others who kept your promise to the American people. Today represents a milestone in transparency and disclosure.”

Gabbard Resigns as Director of National Intelligence

Tulsi Gabbard announced her resignation as Director of National Intelligence on the same day as PURSUE Release 02. Lue Elizondo responded:

“She has been a true champion of transparency and disclosure as it relates to UAP and I am sad to see her go. She has served her nation honorably, time and again, each time her nation needed.”

Gabbard’s ODNI was the office pushing for UAP transparency and the office whose team was caught being spied on by the CIA. Her departure raises immediate questions about whether the disclosure momentum she helped build will survive under new leadership.

Burchett: “The Deep State Classic” – Release Holds Back the Best Footage

Rep. Tim Burchett slammed the release as deliberate misdirection:

“They won’t show y’all some of the stuff that we’ve seen. They’re gonna show stuff that is easily identifiable.”

Burchett called today’s file drop “the Deep State classic” – accusing intelligence agencies of padding the release with mundane footage while withholding the most compelling material Congress has viewed in classified settings.

Release Totals: 64 Files, 51 Military Videos

The full scope of Release 02: 64 declassified files, of which 51 are military videos. The batch includes infrared formations over the Persian Gulf, Coast Guard “Tic Tac” footage, and the F-16 Lake Huron shootdown clip.

Chris Sharp (Liberation Times) noted that AARO provided zero analysis with any of the files: “The American Taxpayer paid for a UAP office which refuses to provide any analysis to support the videos.” Sharp said the reaction from the disclosure community was “disappointment and distress.”

Mick West claimed “about 90% of these newly released UFO videos are parallax illusions, often compounded with manual tracking” – a characterization immediately contested by researchers who noted that parallax doesn’t account for the Lake Huron shootdown, the orb intelligence report, or the Sandia dossier.

Corbell: Whistleblower Drew Pentagon a Pyramid-Shaped UAP Power Source

Jeremy Corbell revealed that the ODNI was told by whistleblower Dylan Borland that he drew them an image of a pyramid-shaped power source for UAP which displayed a hieroglyph.

Borland’s response when asked to elaborate: “I will gladly answer that if the Executive Branch and Congress gives me amnesty… I’d love to… I’m not going to jail.”

The claim, if substantiated, would connect to longstanding reports of exotic energy systems recovered from non-human craft.

Coulthart: CIA Caught Spying on ODNI Team Investigating Its Own UAP Connections

Ross Coulthart flagged reporting by Catherine Herridge that the CIA was spying on a team working for ODNI chief Tulsi Gabbard. The ODNI team was investigating CIA connections to UAP programs.

“This is extremely important… The CIA was spying on a team working for ODNI. This is illegal under US law.”

If confirmed, this means the agency that has been blocking disclosure was actively surveilling the people trying to investigate it.

Elizondo Blasts CIA for Warrantless Surveillance of Whistleblowers

Lue Elizondo expanded on Coulthart’s CIA spying report with a direct accusation:

“Think about somebody in the Government making a unilateral decision without a FISA warrant to collect information on U.S. persons… People like myself and others who were illegally surveilled.”

Elizondo is alleging that the CIA’s surveillance of ODNI investigators – and of whistleblowers cooperating with them – was conducted without the legally required FISA court authorization, making it a potential felony under federal wiretapping law.

Dan Farah: Release “Barely Scratches the Surface”

Dan Farah, director and producer of the UAP documentary Age of Disclosure, told NewsNation that today’s release “barely scratches the surface” and that the government has evidence “that shows UAP that are clearly not made by humans.”

Farah’s claim aligns with what Burchett and Luna have said about classified material they’ve seen in secure facilities being far more compelling than anything published so far.

Corbell: White House Preparing Presidential Language on UFOs

Jeremy Corbell revealed on his podcast that White House communications staff have contacted him:

“Comms people from the White House have called me. They’re planning to try to put the language together to explain this, at least what they know. I know President Trump was briefed on UAP.”

If accurate, this suggests a formal presidential address or statement on the UAP topic may be in preparation – a step beyond the PURSUE file releases into direct acknowledgment from the Oval Office.

Burlison: “I Have Watched 52 UFO Videos – Some Are Very Interesting”

Rep. Eric Burlison said he has now reviewed 52 unreleased UAP videos with Rep. Anna Paulina Luna ahead of the next PURSUE drop – and tempered expectations while flagging standout footage.

“I have watched 52 UFO videos & some are very interesting.”

Burlison acknowledged that some of the videos are balloons and birds – a notable shift from earlier “holy crap” framing from other members. But he said the next batch is due imminently under the administration’s rolling declassification schedule.

The count exceeds the 46 videos Luna demanded and the 30 AARO showed Burlison in a separate screening – suggesting Congress has now seen a much larger pool than the public has.

Rep. Tim Burchett separately reiterated his warning that the next release may include false information planted to confuse the public – setting up a tension between members who have previewed the footage and those bracing for disinformation.

Burlison Demands 1952 “Flying Saucer” Video From MIT Lincoln Labs

Rep. Eric Burlison confirmed he has sent an official letter to MIT Lincoln Labs requesting a 1952 video briefing labeled “flying saucer talk” – believed to document early military encounters with UFOs.

“MIT Lincoln Labs is one of many entities entrusted by the government with classified research and documents. I sent a letter requesting one of their more compelling UAP materials.”

Burlison told Fox News that Lincoln Labs is preparing to release the material, adding: “This is the exact type of location we should be searching… My team is aggressively pursuing documents, videos that are in possession of FFRDCs.”

This is the first confirmed FFRDC document request to result in a specific, named file being prepared for release – a direct escalation of Burlison’s push into federally funded research centers.

Coulthart: Is the Government Playing the Public for Fools?

Ross Coulthart questioned whether the mix of balloons and birds in the upcoming release is intentional misdirection:

“As prominent UAP caucus Rep Burlison flags that some of the 52 UFO videos to be released are ‘clearly balloons or birds’, it really is time to ask if the Dept of War, CIA and POTUS are just playing the public for fools?”

Coulthart argued that none of what’s being released addresses the core questions raised by whistleblowers. The comment echoes Burchett’s warning that intelligence agencies may be seeding disinformation into the disclosure process.

Beyond Blue Sky: Astronaut Brian Binnie’s UAP Encounter Revealed in New Documentary

A new documentary – Beyond Blue Sky: The Untold Story of the First Private Astronauts – features a previously undisclosed UAP encounter by Brian Binnie, the former U.S. Navy pilot who flew SpaceShipOne to win the $10 million Ansari X Prize in October 2004.

Director Kevin Curran told NewsNation that Binnie witnessed approximately a dozen unexplained objects hovering in his backyard in 2003, just months before his historic flight and shortly after a nearly fatal test-flight crash. Binnie watched the objects for over a minute. Curran said the account carries particular weight because Binnie is a trained military observer.

Ross Coulthart promoted the documentary on his Reality Check channel, noting that Binnie’s encounter may have changed the trajectory of private spaceflight.

UAP Disclosure Act of 2026 Builds Senate Momentum

The UAP Disclosure Act of 2026 – introduced by Senators Chuck Schumer and Mike Rounds – continues building bipartisan support in the Senate. The legislation is modeled on the JFK Assassination Records Collection Act and would mandate declassification of federal UAP records, establish an independent review board, and require disclosure of materials held by private contractors.

A House companion bill sponsored by Reps. Burchett and Luna mirrors the Senate version. Schumer has signaled he may seek to attach the bill to a must-pass spending measure or the FY2027 NDAA.

Coulthart: Trump Has Been Briefed on the Crash Retrieval Program

Ross Coulthart reports that President Trump has now been briefed on the legacy UAP crash retrieval program – and that this briefing goes deeper than anything he received during his first term.

“I am told POTUS is indeed now briefed on the legacy UAP crash retrieval program. The President, Rubio, Luna, Burlison & Burchett have pushed hard for the answers that other Presidents failed to get. The big Q is what POTUS will tell the American public now.”

This is the single most significant disclosure development since PURSUE launched. If confirmed, it means the President now has direct knowledge of recovered non-human vehicles – the core claim at the heart of the entire UAP disclosure movement.

AARO Showed Burlison 30 Videos That “Made Everyone Gasp”

In a follow-up, Coulthart revealed that AARO showed Rep. Eric Burlison 30 UAP videos that made everyone in the room gasp.

“If there’s no human technology that can do something like that, why has AARO continually gas-lit any suggestion of NHI engagement with this planet?”

These are separate from the 46 videos Luna is pushing through declassification – meaning Congress has now seen at least 70+ UAP videos that the public has not.

Burchett: Deep State Resistance May Hide Zero-Point Energy Coverup

Rep. Tim Burchett said Trump is facing “Deep State” resistance on the UFO files – and named Zero-Point Energy as what may ultimately be at stake.

“It’s about power and control. That’s what runs Washington. They’re gonna have to admit they’ve been lying to us.”

The zero-point energy claim is significant because it moves the conversation beyond vehicles and beings into suppressed technology – the argument that recovered craft have yielded energy systems that would disrupt the global economy.

Luna: “I Have Seen Things That Are Non-Human Origin”

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna made her strongest statement yet on what she’s been shown:

“I have seen things that are non-human origin but I would not call them aliens. I have seen evidence in a SCIF that leads me to believe there are things we cannot explain.”

The distinction between “non-human origin” and “aliens” is notable – it mirrors the careful language used by Grusch and other whistleblowers who have described the phenomenon as non-human intelligence without necessarily equating it with extraterrestrial visitors.

Second UAP File Release Confirmed: “Actively Being Processed”

The Department of War confirmed that the second release of UAP files is actively being processed for publication. This comes after the first PURSUE release on May 8 generated nearly 500 million hits.

Lue Elizondo added on Fox News: “There’s going to be another drop here very soon. There are people in the Administration that are very much engaged in this topic.”

The Daily Mail confirmed a “fresh wave of UFO files to be released” following Trump’s alien image post.

Corbell Releases New Air Force UAP Video From Hidden Archive

Jeremy Corbell published a new UAP video described as an Air Force tasked capture from a hidden archive – showing a large “disc” UAP navigating through airspace.

“We informed Congress & the public. They catalogued it…”

Corbell said the footage was shared with Congress and catalogued by the relevant authorities. The video joins a growing body of footage released by Corbell and George Knapp in recent weeks.

France’s National Assembly to Host First-Ever UAP Symposium

France’s National Assembly will host its first-ever UFO/UAP symposium on June 29 with lawmakers, CNES, GEIPAN, and top scientists. France has operated the world’s longest-running official UAP program (GEIPAN/CNES since 1977).

This follows Japan’s announcement that it holds UAP data and is engaging with the topic. International disclosure is accelerating – two major U.S. allies are now publicly engaging with the phenomenon within weeks of each other.

Trump Posts AI Image Walking With “Alien Prisoner”

On Saturday evening, President Trump posted an AI-generated image on Truth Social depicting himself walking with a team of agents escorting what appears to be an alien prisoner. The image was widely interpreted as deliberate messaging.

Elizondo commented: The image “is a way of communicating with the American people.”

Chris Sharp (Liberation Times) noted: “The White House now realises UAP disclosure is popular and won’t result in ridicule. This incentivises Trump to keep going.”

Corbell: “UFO Whistleblowers Ready to Testify Are Now Dead”

Jeremy Corbell publicly stated a pattern that UFOUAP has been tracking for months:

“There are UFO Whistleblowers who were ready to testify & now they are DEAD – There is a pattern.”

He specifically mentioned the disappearance of General McCasland and missing scientists connected to programs. This marks one of the highest-profile public statements about the deaths/disappearances pattern from a journalist with direct sources.

NSA Files Reveal 13 Fighter Jets Scrambled After a Single UFO

The Daily Mail reported details from the NSA’s newly released Top Secret UMBRA files: in one incident, 13 MIG fighter jets were dispatched to chase a single UFO detected on military radar.

Other encounters in the 334 pages include:

  • Six MIGs seen “attacking said UFO”
  • A star-shaped object moving “up and down at a fast speed and at a very high altitude” in a manner “impossible to be an aircraft”
  • An “elongated ball of fire” that split into three separate objects
  • Silent craft flying at low altitude with “two yellow lights”
  • Soviet jets chasing 23 UFOs during the Cold War

Despite dozens of reports being dismissed as “likely balloons,” the NSA classified every single one as Top Secret UMBRA – the agency’s highest sensitivity level – and fought for 40 years to keep them sealed.

Burchett: Next Release Will Include False Information “to Intentionally Screw Us Up”

Rep. Tim Burchett warned that he expects the next batch of government UFO files will contain disinformation planted by intelligence agencies.

“I think the cover-up continues. I believe the President & White House are having a hard time with a lot of our alphabet agencies. It’s classic Deep State vs America.”

The warning is significant: a sitting congressman is publicly stating that agencies will poison their own disclosures to undermine public understanding. This mirrors earlier reporting about active CIA resistance to disclosure.

AOC: “I Think It’s a Really Important Issue”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez weighed in on UFO disclosure, signaling continued bipartisan support:

“The more specific we can get about the areas, departments, and things that we would like to see disclosed – the easier it is to get that information.”

AOC joins a growing list of Democrats engaging with the topic alongside Republican champions like Luna, Burlison, and Burchett.

Joe Rogan: “Is This Disclosure?”

Joe Rogan discussed the current state of UFO disclosure on his podcast with Rep. Burchett:

“They were talking about the Reptilians, the Nordics, the Greys – Fox News! Is this Disclosure?”

Steven Spielberg also weighed in publicly: “I believe the cosmos is teeming with life… Is that life currently interacting with us? When I made Close Encounters I thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be great if this could come true?’ Maybe it has.”

The convergence of the world’s biggest podcaster and the most famous sci-fi director treating disclosure as real marks a cultural tipping point.

Corbell: 8 of the 46 Classified Videos Are in Sleeping Dog

Jeremy Corbell revealed that 8 of the 46 classified UAP videos requested by Congress appear in his documentary Sleeping Dog, now #5 on Amazon Prime:

“Our hope was that their inclusion would provoke our government to release every single one of the RAW files in full.”

This confirms that at least some of the classified footage has been publicly visible – just not in its raw, unedited government form.

NSA Releases Hundreds of Pages of Top Secret UMBRA UAP Records

George Knapp announced that the Disclosure Foundation has obtained 334 pages of formerly Top Secret UMBRA intelligence reports from the National Security Agency via a FOIA appeal.

The release marks the end of a 40-year legal battle that began with a 1980 citizen lawsuit. The NSA’s own appeals board ruled the agency had wrongly withheld the documents.

Hunt Willis, Chief Legal Officer for the Disclosure Foundation, said: “It is simply unacceptable for security classification exemptions to remain on government documents that pre-date the Civil Rights Act.”

The files cover Cold War-era radar tracking reports and military intelligence messages about unknown objects detected globally. Despite heavy redactions, the Disclosure Foundation is now fighting to have all 334 pages fully unredacted.
