Harvard’s Galileo Project Claims UAP Detection Capability – But No Findings Yet
Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb published a Medium post arguing the Galileo Project is now a “scientific alternative to government disclosure” – capable of using multimodal sensors and triangulation to identify objects outside known human-made performance envelopes. The project has built real infrastructure (infrared camera arrays, passive radar, integrated computing platforms) and published instrumentation papers in peer-reviewed journals, but has not yet reported a single anomalous UAP detection. Its most prominent output remains the contested IM1 interstellar meteorite expedition, whose spherule findings face ongoing peer-reviewed critique. Loeb writes daily on Medium and frames the project as a bypass around classified government archives. Full article

McCasland Search Update: FBI Involved, Possible Sighting Near Piedra Lisa Canyon
New details have emerged in the disappearance of retired Maj. Gen. William McCasland. Friends say he left home Friday without his watch or phone – unusual for a man described as disciplined and physically fit, who recently completed a 60-mile bike ride. His wife Susan posted on Facebook that it “does not seem to have been foul play at all.”
A woman reported to authorities that she may have seen someone matching McCasland’s description near the Whitewash trailhead in Piedra Lisa Canyon around the time he went missing. The BCSO responded in the same Facebook thread but did not dispute the sighting. New Mexico Search and Rescue confirmed teams searched the Albuquerque Open Space area Sunday through Monday.
The FBI Albuquerque Field Office has confirmed involvement, calling it “standard practice” to assist local partners with available tools and techniques. The BCSO remains the lead agency. Sheriff John Allen stated Tuesday: “Our investigators and search teams are working continuously, and we’re coordinating closely with our local, state, and federal partners.” The office asked the public to check and preserve any security camera footage from the area. Civilian Researcher Claims MJ-12 Document Identifiers Match Declassified CIA Files
An anonymous researcher publishing as MJ12 Logic has posted an analysis identifying four stamped identifiers on Majestic-12 documents that appear to match numbers on official CIA FOIA records – including a 345-page Project Paperclip intelligence file (CIA record 00010786) declassified in June 2022. The identifiers include the routing number 834021, the Executive Registry number ER-1-2735, and two additional markers. The researcher argues the match is difficult to explain if the MJ-12 documents were fabricated in the 1980s, since the CIA file wasn’t publicly available until decades later. The FBI determined a Majestic-12 document was “a fake” in 1988, and the National Archives has reported negative search results for MJ-12 records. No independent forensic review of the identifier analysis has been conducted. Full article

Silver Alert: Retired USAF General Named in Podesta UFO Emails Is Missing
Bernalillo County authorities have issued a Silver Alert for 68-year-old retired U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. William Neil McCasland after he was reported missing in Albuquerque, New Mexico. McCasland was last seen on February 27 around 11:00 a.m. near Quail Run Ct NE. His clothing and direction of travel are unknown. Authorities cite medical concerns for his safety.
McCasland’s name carries weight in the UAP world. In 2016, WikiLeaks published emails between musician-turned-disclosure-advocate Tom DeLonge and Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta in which DeLonge described McCasland as a key figure in his UFO advisory team. One email stated: “General McCasland… helped assemble my advisory team. He’s a very important man.” A separate email thread showed McCasland coordinating a meeting with Podesta; the CC list included a Lockheed Martin email address (rob.f.weiss@lmco.com).
McCasland’s military career included commanding the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB – a base long associated with UFO lore – overseeing a $4 billion science and technology program and a workforce of over 10,000. He earlier commanded the Phillips site of AFRL at Kirtland AFB and held roles with the National Reconnaissance Office.
Col. Justin Secrest, commander of the 377th Air Base Wing at Kirtland, said the base is “coordinating closely with local authorities” and deferred updates to BCSO. New Mexico Search and Rescue is assisting the investigation.
It is important to note: no official connection has been established between McCasland’s disappearance and any UAP-related activity. The Silver Alert cites medical concerns. Source · Source · Podesta Email
“Due to his medical issues, law enforcement is concerned for his safety.” – Deanna Aragon, BCSO spokesperson
